Rechargeable batteries

I'm starting to research making my Cyclone II powered project run off rechargeable batteries. Have you seen any designs for this you could link me to?

Maybe one of you have done a handheld game, communication device or something else.

Any advice on voltage regulators, and what external components they will need would be great.

I would suggest to start off from the PowerPlay Early Power Estimators to figure out the required power. Then look for the suitable regulators and power source.

i agree, run through PowerPlay and/or the EPE to see how much power you need

then you might take a look at some of the hobbiest type vendors like sparkfun.com to see what kind of solutions they have
