Current Strength+Slew Rate set in pin planner, I/O Warning "Missing dri..." remains.

Hello Forum Members,

I am using a DE0_CV, project generated by Terrasic Builder.

I get the warning in the" I/O assignments report": "LEDR[0] Missing drive strength and slew rate."

Another post on this forum indicates that this has something to do with the Current Strength and Slew rates not being defined in pin planner.

However in Pin Planner the Current Strength and Slew rate for this pin have been defined.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Johi.

Solved:

Default settings in pin planner need to be changed to something else, this can be the same value but not default.

Example: replace "16mA (default)" with "16mA"

Yeah, the issue is that unless you explicitly set those assignments, they don't get written to the .qsf file, so you get the warning. You can just ignore the warnings.
