When upgrading a working installation of Quartus 8.0 the installer claims that it cannot find quartus installed. Does anyone know what the installer is looking for?
Any switches available to force the installer? ApusLink Copied

Did you install Quartus in a non-default location originally?
If so check to make sure your QUARTUS_ROOTDIR, is correct (Environment variable) I'm not an altera employee, so I'm not sure what it's looking for, But it did work for me, but I had Quartus installed in the default location c:\altera\80... Pete- Mark as New

Hi,
it seems that Quartus did not properly update the registry. A reinstallation fixed this. And no, we are not using the default path. Apus
