Hello, quick question for the members of the forum. I designed a board using a Cyclone V GX FPGA. I did not use the transceiver pins so I ground all the RX pins and left the TX pins floating. During PCB layout the RX pins where not connected to ground. Will this cause any problems with the operation of the FPGA?
Thanks, JoeLink Copied

Pin connection guidelines say connect GXB_RX pins to ground through 10k resistor, either individually or all together. Short traces are suggested.
Sounds like they'll possibly pick up noise, making the receiver stage switching unintended. I don't expect design failure, but may be increased power consumption or some noise coupled to other near by GXB signals.- Mark as New
