Hey friends,

I am trying to set the clock end time in the Quartus simulation to 1 sec. However I am able to select the the period as 20ns. However, When I try to set the time period to 1 ms or 1 sec , i get an error message saying specify a legal end time. I am confused ??

Please help!

Thanks in advance.

Someone else can probably answer this question better ....

but, the end time is the length of the simulation. I am assuming the period has to be less than the end time.

sim007, to ninjaben's point please make sure you've sent the end time in the VWF. to do this, open your VWF, goto Edit, and then End Time. Then you should be able to set the clock period to 1 ms (but setting it to 1 s would be a bit strange).

Hello guys,

Well editing the time from the Edit> End time helps. We cannot just change the end time by changing the value in waveform. We have to change it from Edit time..

Thanks a lot guys!!
