uC/OS-II versus eCos

Could someone give a comparison between the two OS's? I know that this can be source of much debate (even flames) but for a new user its important to have some basis for selection. But clearly there will never be a best choice. Its a balanced compromise. But these things are best when based on knowledge.

As a starter:

1) eCos is opensource as opposed to uC/OS-II which requires a payed license, which may or may not be an issue. See for instance uc/os-ii license (http://www.niosforum.com/forum/index.php?act=st&f=20&t=1567&hl=)

2) I also see from using nios-ide, that uC/OS-II is tightly integrated into the nios-ide tool and thus presumably easier to get up-and-running. Isnt this true?

thanks
