I am a nios newbie.
I am trying to build a NIOS system that lets users access the system remotely through the LAN port and allows them to download software and the FPGA Configuration data onto the board. something similar to ethernet blaster but using a simple cat5 cable.
plz give me some hints to solve these problems
(1) Can i convert the .flash file to some format that is directly downloadable onto the flash chip (something like rbf for the configuration data)
(2) what is the size of the onboard flash memory in Altera Stratix dev kits. I am using the EP1S10 kit. does it allow configuration of 6 pages ?
(3) In order for me to timeout from the user image to the safe image , Should the User image contain an Remote update block as well ?
