8051 IP core's usage

Hi: 

I download 8051 ip cores from http://oregano.at (http://oregano.at) ,but I can't use it .It sent me a message that found not 8051's entity.I use Q2 5.0sp1,NIOS2 5.0. 

I change top entity the same as 8051 ip,but error is the same.Anyone used it ago,please help...3x

Hi, 

 

it synthesises out-of-the-box in Q2 5.0, given that you add the memories and 

keep the hdl files in correct order (mc8051_p.vhd as topmost etc.) 

 

Just out of curiosity, why 8051? Are you migrating some old assembler code? 

A comparable NIOS II/e/s system requires less logic resources, runs faster 

and comes with a state-of-the-art IDE and C/C++ compiler.

I set mc8051_top.vhdl for top layer,and have memory such as flash,sdram etc. 

but failure.Can u use it ?
