Hi there.... i would like to ask about nios clock..is the base clock of all the nios apex pins are in 33.33 Mhz... is it if i would like to have a nios processor working in 50Mhz i would need to use the available IP core to multiply by 1.5 to obtain 50Mhz ?

Thanks and regards

Hi Wayne,

when you use quartus you can modify you NIOS is SOPC builder... This way you can modify clockspeed... Use your RAM PLL to increase speed to optimize your design...

Good luck,

I am using the stratix II dev board with engineering sample e2s60...

we clocked it up to 135 MHz and that's only because the SDRAM can't be clocked higher
