Hi Folks,
What OS would people recommend a newbi implement on his Nios-II system, so that he can run TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet etc. I am looking for an OS with the most support / devkit / Forum experiance. uCLinux seems popular, but I have no experiance of implementing an OS on Nios, so good documentation, tutorials and reference examples are a key concern. --- Quote End --- Sure, you should try uClinux. It is not difficult. Please follow the uClinux guide on the Nios Wiki, and try out the prebuild image first. Then setup a Linux PC, install the binary toolchains and uClinux-dist. You can find with google for documentation, tutorials and reference examples.
