Hi,
I started using eclipse with DLTK (tcl support) to develop _hw.tcl and _sw.tcl files. So far I used syntax highlighting and template insertion only. It would be very helpful if tcl interpreter of eclipse could be configured to recognize Altera specific tcl commands. Then one could write a tcl test script to e.g. call callbacks defined within _hw.tcl I know that Quartus provides a basic tcl editor but syntax check does not work on tcl files. my question is: How to configure tcl interpreter to recognize altera specific commands? Thanks JosefLink Copied

Hello,
I tried ones with Quartus 7.2 or 8.0 (I don't remember) to load Altera TCL packages in a simple tclsh. It was a real nightmare. If TCL 8.4 is enough for you, I suggest you to find in Eclipse how to use quartus_sh has TCL interpreter. Regards, Eric
