I am trying to do a simple simulation in quartus, the book I am learning VHDL from is a few years old and the create vwf file does not exist in the new versin of quartus.

Can somebody explain to me how its done in the 10.0 version (step by step would be nice:D)?

I did search the forum but my knowledge is very basic as I :confused:am just getting started.

Thanks in advance;)

you'll have to skip to the chapter of your VHDL book about test benches and use ModelSim-A(S)E. the Simulation Handbook will also be of use:
