Hello,
I am posting a message on this forum because I just got a strange problem with the development card I am using to work. development board : EPM1270 Everything was working very good and suddenly after several weeks of using it without any problems, during a new program load inside the CPLD MAXII the error message appeared in QUARTUS II : "Can't access JTAG chain Unexpected error in JTAG server -- error code 44" After this, the black component (U17) between the capacitor C29 and C30 was very hot so it seems that Something happened but I don't know what. And of course all my programs don't work anymore. Is it possible to change only this component or not? What solutions I have? I look for calling ALTERA support but I don't find a phone number. Thanks to help me.Link Copied

Toto, the only item of information that was evident from a brief look on the internet is the following --
Altera GmbH Imm Coli - 13 Avenue Morane Saulnier Velizy, 78140 France Tel: 33 134 630750 Fax: 33 134 630751 I know that this is likely a sales location, but, surely they could direct you to the best route. Good luck; Larry
