I am new to Quartus II tools. I have web eidition 10.1 installed. When I open the text editor, there are a few links (with pictures) to altera web site for updates, which appears on top of the text file and I cannot swee the text in this area (please see attached image). On the laptop I am working on, this leaves me very little space to work with. How do I remove these links?
Thanks a lot, Tharaka,Link Copied

I don't know how it happens.
but you don't have to use QuartusII to edit text. so use notepad or other-editor you like. good luck.- Mark as New

In windows 7, do not use the Aero theme. Switch to the basic view. I have experienced with many windows problem in Quartus II in Windows 7.

This sounds like the same problem discussed in this other thread (http://www.alteraforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26944). I have posted a "work around" in that thread that works for me but others have reported it did not work for them.
