Hi Everybody,

I just purchased a Cyclone III Starter kit and am having some issues running the control panel that comes as part of the software installation. Whenever I try to launch it, I get the error

"Could not establish JTAG connection between the board and control panel application. Please ensure the board is configured with the correct programming file and the download cable is connected properly to the board."

However, when I use Quartus II, I can load programs onto the board; I've loaded the factory-reset .pof file onto the flash memory and tried to reconfigure the board that way. Moreover, when I launch the JTAG chain from the programmer section, it gives me the OK. Why wouldn't the control panel work?
