Quartus II 11.0 compliation problem

Hi all,

I’ve installed the Quartus II 11.0 and tried to port my AHDL source code from device EPM3032 to 5M40Z (The code is OK in EPM3032 with Quartus 6.0). However, after I installing the license file, I found that the license has already expired (2011.04). So, I cannot compile my source code with Quartus II 11.0.

Here below is my debug message for your reference.

Error: Current module quartus_asm ended unexpectedly

Error: Quartus II Full Compilation was unsuccessful. 2 errors, 0 warnings

Error: Selected feature of TimeQuest Timing Analyzer is not available with your current license, or license does not exist

Info: You have a valid up-to-date license

Info: You have a valid up-to-date license

Info: You have a valid up-to-date license

Do you think that these errors are related to license problem? Or do you have any idea in solving these problems?

Thank a lot for your help.

Best regards,

Tim

apparently yes, the problem has to do with the license, which is out-of-date. However, Quartus II 11.0 Web Edition should work because doesnt need license; if you are using Quartus II 11.0 professional, you have to get a new license.
