Hi all,
I’ve installed the Quartus II 11.0 and tried to port my AHDL source code from device EPM3032 to 5M40Z (The code is OK in EPM3032 with Quartus 6.0). However, after I installing the license file, I found that the license has already expired (2011.04). So, I cannot compile my source code with Quartus II 11.0. Here below is my debug message for your reference. Error: Current module quartus_asm ended unexpectedly Error: Quartus II Full Compilation was unsuccessful. 2 errors, 0 warnings Error: Selected feature of TimeQuest Timing Analyzer is not available with your current license, or license does not exist Info: You have a valid up-to-date license Info: You have a valid up-to-date license Info: You have a valid up-to-date license Do you think that these errors are related to license problem? Or do you have any idea in solving these problems? Thank a lot for your help. Best regards, TimLink Copied

apparently yes, the problem has to do with the license, which is out-of-date. However, Quartus II 11.0 Web Edition should work because doesnt need license; if you are using Quartus II 11.0 professional, you have to get a new license.
