Can't access local drive

I am using Quartus II 11.0 on Windows 7. I created my circuit and compiled it. I need to install the USB blaster driver, so I can program my FPGA. A friend was walking me through the installation steps until I reached a problem accessing the Local Drive. I was told that my Altera information was located on that drive, but when I click to access it I receive a message saying that my access was denied. My friend informed me that I may have a virus, but I ran a full scan via McFee and everything was good. That leads me to a question: why can't I access my local drive?? Also, is there another way I can get access to the USB blaster Driver installation??
