Quartus II Crashes

Hello,

I am running Quartus II 32-bit Version 12.0 Build 263 08/02/2012 Web Edition,

with Service Pack Installed: 2

on Windows 7.

I am using schematic design entry in the Block Editor. I create a new design and compile it without problems. I then make a simple edit, for example re-naming a pin, save the file, and attempt to compile again, and it crashes.

The crash report window says:

------- start paste ------

End-trace

Quartus II 32-bit Version 12.0 Build 263 08/02/2012 SJ Web Edition

Service Pack Installed: 2

------- end paste -------

When I re-launch Quartus and compile the edited .bdf file there is no problem.

The above behaviour happens consistently, every time.

Am I doing something wrong, or is my installation incorrect, or is it a bug?

If the latter, how do I report it?

Thanks for any help, Ken.
