Verilog ModelSim beginner Hello

Hello im new to this forum, and i just started verilog. I was wondering if anybody knows how to work ModelSim well. I can't seem to find my files after i save them and then try to compile them...if you can tell me how to add files to a library that would be great. thank you

Start with the "getting started with quartus ii simulation using the modelsim-altera software user guide (https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/ug/ug_gs_msa_qii.pdf)". 

 

You can find further help and example ModelSim commands in the quartus prime help (http://quartushelp.altera.com/16.1/index.htm#mapidtopics/jka1465597008058.htm) pages.
