MAX EPM7064 PLCC 68 pin design possibility in Quartus II Web Edition

Hi All,

is there a way how to design a logic for MAX EPM7064 PLCC68 pin, when this type is not inlcuded in the Quartus II Web Edition under legacy devices?

Supported is only under the MAX 7000S devices with 86 & 100 pins but for me it's only wasting of unused pins and 44 pins are not enough.

Thanks for help

Different pin count shouldn't be a problem because all EPM7064 package variants are using the same die and only differ in bond-out. But I doubt that EPM7064 shares the EPM7064S programming file format because EPM7064S has additional features. You can either try or use a legacy software supporting EPM7064 explicitely.

I see that even Quartus V2.1 didn't support non-JTAG MAX7000 chips. You'll apparently need to check MaxPlus II software. Or try if MAX7000S programming files can be used for MAX7000. What's your programmer, by the way?
