Hi guys,

I'm newbie in FPGA.

Recently, i learn how to control the dc motor and read some sensor use DEO Nano.

Until last night my DEO Nano Board was doing well. But suddenly, i can't upload the program to the DEO Nano board anymore.

The message error is :

Error: Can't access JTAG chain

Error: Operation failed

What's that mean?

Is mean that my DEO Nano board broken?

but the LED that indicate the power still can turn on.

Thank you for your help.

hi,

Error: Can't access JTAG chain error means your JTAG chain is not up. One of the possibility would be your USB blaster driver is not detected. Go to your Device Manager driver section to check if the USB blaster driver is detected correctly. TDI and TDO on the JTAG chain must be a close-loop, otherwise, you will get this error. You can follow this link for JTAG issue debugging. Hope this help. http://www.altera.com/cgi-bin/ts.pl?fn=jtagprog&hi=2-8Hope this help. . . idhhoiewojr;owej;ojsd;kfnksdnhr;oirjhfoi;we

Yutong, thank you for your answer.

My USB Blaster is well detected.

I have tried to read your link, but i don't understand how to do it.

I remember before my JTAG chain error, i got this error many times:

Error: Can't communicate with device. Device will stop functioning when it reaches its non-tethered mode timeout limit.

Could it be that error is one of the reason my JTAG chain error and i can't upload program anymore?

Thank you,
