Hi all
I am using a transceiver signal integrity kit with a stratix V Gx edition and a On-chip Debugging Design Example "Transceiver Toolkit Examples for Stratix® V GX, Arria V GX/GT, Cyclone V GX/GT and Stratix IV GX/GT devices" I noticed an issue with the test mode Auto sweep & EyeQ in the transceiver links tab. I fisrt run EyeQ with vod 50, 1st post tap to 0 then increment by 10 manualy. Others parameters are set to 0. I get differents eyes width for each increment what is normal. See picture below: https://www.alteraforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=7977 Then, I run an Auto sweep only on pre-emphasis 1st post-tap with a incrment of 10 (0 to 31). VOD is set to 50 and other pma settings or DFE are set to 0. The eye diagrams look quite all the same. See picture below: https://www.alteraforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=7978 Look like the 1st post tap setting isn't change at all and this is why the eye width stay still the same. Is it an issue with the test mode Auto sweep & EyeQ or is there any others parameters to set for this test mode?Link Copied

Altera support mentioned that the cause of this is in the PMA settings were not applied properly when combined AutoSweep and EyeQmode. This issue was already fixed in the QII 13.1.
