I recently purchased the Cyclone SOCKit and want to put on an LCD. I know Terasic used to sell the Nios II Cyclone III board (I have one) w/ the LCD, but i am using that for something else. The MTL board seems to connect via IDE/ GPIO interface and not HSMC. Are there any adapters/ kits that can bolt onto the SOCKit?

Try this one -- works great for me. Although I'm using it with the Macnica (Helio) board, not SOCKIT. It's HSMC, so pretty sure it should work if SOCKIT is following the guidelines.

There is an add on multitouch panel available from Terasic

There are two example projects on rocketboards that use the sockit and this panel

Skravats, the panel at the link you provided isn't the one used for Android or LXDE examples because it connects via an IDE cable, per the original question. So far, the only HSMC touch panel I've been able to find is the Macnica one.
