Simple Socket Server, Question about LCD display

Hi altera developers,

I am trying to display something on the LCD attached on my dev kit, using simple socket server's telnet. I have connected LCD modules/tristate/tse_mac etc. etc. with my CPU in the Qsys, the system compiles and loads, so I guess the hardware part is good to go.

The tricky part is that I cannot seem to find any library functions concerning the LCD display via telnet, like the ones we have for LED toggle. Could someone give me some directions on where I should be looking at or what documents I should be reading to get the LCD display via telnet going?
