re-configure altera cyclone 4 device when in user mode

Hi , 

 

My question is i want to re-configure altera cyclone 4 device when in user mode. So, i have implemented logic to drive nCONFIG pin. But when i assign my design output to nCONFIG pin it gives me error "Editing location assignment is not successful. Not assignable". As it is dedicated to nCONFIG pin. How can i able to access nCONFIG pin or signal during user mode for re-configuratuion.

nCONFIG can't be driven from user logic as far as I'm aware of. You can force a reconfiguration by using the remote_update block, as recently discussed in this thread
