Quartus II Internal Error

Hi

I have a design with 2 partions, targetting Cyclone 3. I'm using Quartus-II version 11.0 running on Win-7.

When I try to implement my design, I get the following error:

Internal Error: Sub-system: QTK File: /quartus/db/qtk/qtk_db_util.cpp, line 1128

I disabled SignalTapp as recommended here: http://www.altera.com/support/kdb/solutions/rd01282013_182.html

but the problem persists.

Could anyone tell me what the problem is?

It seems like Quartus II has crashed. Generally when I encounter internal error, the best is to contact Altera on it and ask for workaround.

I checked the https://www.altera.com/support/support-resources/download/os-support.html it seems like there is no detail about QII 11.0 OS support. As I checked with QII 11.1sp2, this version support Win7. Anyway, it is worth trying with the latest Quartus II 15.0 to see if error goes away.

Hi msj,

Did you try to compile a simple project with it?

Try create a new design and run full compilation to see if there are any issues with the QII itself.

last resort would be to try clean re-installation and try compiling again.
