Mouser/Digikey now have stock for both the production (10M08SAE144C8G) and engineering samples (10M08SAE144C8GES) variants of the 10m08 in QFP144 (the one used on the eval board).
However both Quartus 14.1 and 15.0 (with all updates applied) don't seem to show the production variant in the device list, just the ES. How are we supposed to program the production chips? Can soft/pof files for the ES variant be used? Hope somebody knows, Robin- Tags:

I don't use Max 10, but you might check the release notes for the 2nd update to Quartus 15.0. It might be supported there.

So I purchased a production chip (10M08SAE144C8G) and tried programming it with a pof file built for the ES variant. The programmer was quite happy (JTAG id is the same) and the pof file was written and verified ok.
The design (which includes a NIOS II cpu) also seems to function ok. So I guess there is no difference between the chips as far as Quartus is concerned....
