I am looking for the recommended PCB footprint for the UBGA 324 pin package as used on the MAX 10 10M16DCU324I7G part.
I have found drawings and even Cadence Allegro .dra files for just about every other package, except that one. can anyone point me at the proper document for this? Thanks RodLink Copied

Hi Rod,
Based on my understanding, Altera will provide the OrCAD symbol in .OLB. The OrCAD symbol can be downloaded from Table 2 of the following link: https://www.altera.com/support/support-resources/download/board-layout-test/pcb/pcb-cadence.html Thank you- Mark as New

The Orcad .olb files are the schematic symbol. I need the recommended PCB footprint.
Following that same link there is a download link for the file "device_family_footprints.zip" but it does NOT contain the UBGA 324 package. I don't actually want a .dra file anyway as the footprints we use must be made with our own padstacks. All I really need is a drawing. This information is usually included in a datasheet but I can't find it in this case- Mark as New

Hi,
From my understand, Altera no longer update the PCB Footprint Libraries for Cadence Allegro PCB Tools. We will only provide the OrCAD symbol in .OLB. The PCB footprint libraries which can be downloaded from Table 1 is applicable for the mature devices. https://www.altera.com/support/support-resources/download/board-layout-test/pcb/pcb-cadence.html- Mark as New

Like I said before, I don't want the actual allegro file. I want a drawing that specifies what the pattern is.
This drawing must exist. I don't understand why it is so hard to find.- Mark as New

Hi,
You can find the package drawing in the link given below https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/packaging/04r00474-02.pdf For this particular package they haven't given .dra files but you can create the footprint based the given package details. Best regards, --Ashok ----If it is useful accept it is a solution
