ModelSim Licensing Issue

Hi,

When I generate a license file for ModelSim, the file contains:

# FEATURE START # The following is a feature line for ModelSim University Edition # Number of seat licenses is 20 # License Expires 02-Nov-2018 300 Start date you specified is after the contract active end date. # FEATURE END

And I cannot use ModelSim then.

The license's information here:

# ModelSim for University Program, 20 Seat(s) # - Maintenance Expiration of 2018.11 # - License Expires 02-Nov-2018

I generate the license file on Jan. 30, 2018.

How does that happen? And How can I fix it?

Thanks,

are you using the self service license center on the intel altera site? I had a similar problem generating a modelsim ae license that ended up being a problem at their end with their license generation. A SR through mysupport sorted it in a couple of days. you can always use the starter edition in the interim.
