Hi,

Is it possible not connect power the VCCIO voltage on unused banks in Arria 10 devices (for example, leave unconnected)?

Hi,

Yes, you can power down the VCCIO voltage of unused I/O banks except I/O Bank 2A in Intel® Arria® 10 devices. I/O Bank 2A is not allowed to be powered down because the I/O Bank is monitored by the Power-On Reset (POR) circuitry.

Hi,

explain, please, that means "power down":

1. I can switch off VCCIO voltage of unused I/O banks after the power-on all FPGA VCCIO voltage?

or:

2. I can not connect VCCIO voltage of unused I/O banks on the pcb board and leave VCCIO pins of unused I/O banks float?

HI,

Both options can be considered, But option one is the better choice considering the feasibility of modification if required.
