I got a recipe for anyone running "unsupported" (as stated in IEGD docs) Linux distribution wanting to compile and run IEGD 10.x IKM (Kernel module).

Few days I managed to build properly working IKM on both Debian 5.0 Lenny (2.6.26) and Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala (2.6.31).

Please read:

For Intel consideration:

I hope information provided on my blog does not violate IEGD EULA and will be useful for your users/clients. Please consider reading "Notes for Intel" section in this article where I stated some possible enhancements to IEGD that can make easy compiling and using your drivers on any Linux distribution.

Regards,

Adam
