Hello, bill_tseng:

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

The Dynamic Media Refresh Rate Switching (DMRRS) information is stated in section 5.3 and Table 19-2; on pages 25, 26, and 70 of the https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/574274 Intel Graphics Power Management and Power Conservation Software Product Specification (SPS) document # 574274.

It is accessible when you are logged into your Resource & Design Center (RDC) privileged account. It can be requested by filling out the https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/forms/design/contact-support.html RDC Account Support form.

We hope that this information may help you.

Best regards,

Carlos_A.

Hello, Carlos A:

Thanks for your prompt feedback. It helps a lot.

It seems DMRRS is similar to the concept of Seamless DRRS. The difference between DMRRS and DRRS is DRRS only focus on the static picture.

For the Seamless DRRS, it mentioned "The seamless DRRS method is able to accomplish the refresh rate assignment without a mode change and therefore does not experience some of the visual artifacts ...".

Does Intel have the document that describes the method of Seamless DRRS changes the refresh rate without a mode change ?

Best Regards,

Bill_Tseng

Hello @kushal1,

I have found some documents that have information regarding those features:

#600548 - Intel® Graphics Advanced Display Features

Low Refresh Rate (LRR) Feature

#619433 -  Intel® Graphics Power Management and Power Conservation - Software Product Specification (SPS)

This one has a lot of information regarding various features that you mentioned.

You will need a Premier account in order to get access to these documents.
