My name is Jay Pirincci and I am the president od M.D. Motivational Enterprises LLC. I am an architect with physics degree. I want some simple information on designing a Smart Watch. We have already developed the package and design. We know basically which components to use and their size such as LED screen, microchip, lithium type battery etc. but I want to use your Intel chip and processor to help us create the basic functions and specs for our smart watch. This technology has been around for 50 years now. Its nothing new. Can you provide me design information and specs on your chip that will help me design the PCB connections to all the components specifically connections to the pins of the chip along with software info that will create basic smart watch functions. Attached is a picture of one of our designs that has also been submitted to Americas Greatest Makers Show. This is a multifunctional Motivational Device that will provide all the functions of a basic smart watch but also act as a smart purse or wallet for women and men having space for items such as perfume spray, cosmetics, change etc. We have already retailers that are interested in this product.

Thank you.

Hello JayP

Thanks for your interest in our products. For smartwatches we recommend our Intel® Quark Processors. Of special interest for your application could be the Intel® Curie Module, this is a brief description from the fact sheet:

To speed the development of wearable products based on the Intel Curie module, Intel is providing a complete software solution that includes a small and efficient real-time operating system (RTOS) together with reference wearable applications called http://blogs.intel.com/technology/2014/08/designing-great-wearables-experience/ Intel® IQ Software Kits. The kits include the embedded software that runs on the module together with companion smartphone applications and associated cloud capabilities.

Here you can check the specifications of the products mentioned:

If you want more specific details about this platform you need to apply for a Privilege Account at the design center: https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/forms/design/registration-privileged.html Register for a Privileged Intel Account , that would allow you to receive Intel Confidential Material for the platform, as well as more support during the development of your design.

I hope this information is useful for you.

Best Regards,

Adolfo
