I would like to use the i210-AT as part of a 1000BASE-T backplane design. I have a plug-able network switch with on-board magnetics and would like to interface to an i210-AT without adding an additional transformer.

Is there any official documentation that discusses this configuration?

I came across an old thread that discussed this application and included the name of an application note, but i have been unable to actually find the app note:
