Are there any plans to provide FSP package for Denverton platforms ?

Hi all,

I was sent here from https://communities.intel.com/message/493821# 493821 this thread to ask my question again:

I wonder if Intel consider releasing Atom C3000 (Denverton) Firmware Support Package, so independent developers can create firmware for their own platforms.

If yes then what is the roadmap for that ? If no, then what is the reason ?

@Carlos_A,

I think you meant CNDA. I'm owner of 3mdeb Embedded Systems Consulting and we have this document signed with Intel, but I still cannot access this reasource. Who I can contact to extend my access to that platform.

Carlos_A,

I tried that, bit when using your link it redirects me to main page. I can see some CRB and BWG documents in Denverton area but no sign of document you mention.

I already used form you point to, but didn't get any confirmation of sending that form (should I get anything ?) and also no reply after month.

Hello, pietrushnic:

Thanks for your reply.

We understand your frustration, however, it is important to let you know that the EDC privileged account is totally different than the Resource & Design Center (RDC) privileged account.

Due to this fact, please fill out the last suggested form to help you.

We hope that this information may help you.

Hi Carlos_A,

I want to leave information for people looking at this thread in future.

1. Please note that document pointed by Carlos_A, according to support, is for Intel employee and close business partners only.

2. CNDA is not enough to gain access to mentioned document.

3. There is already some support in coreboot for Harcuvar Denverton reference platform. There is also some move on coreboot mailing list discussion C3000, so please check there.

Carlos_A Your post explaining how to get Denverton-AD document, is there any separate document for Denverton-NS ? From what I know those are different markets.

The https://cdrd.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/565490 Linux FSP for Denverton NS Product Family PVC document # 565490 and https://cdrd.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/564567 Intel Firmware Support Package for Intel Atom Product C3XXX Family Release Notes document # 564567 have the information that may help you.

It is important to clarify you that these documents are accessible to you when you are logged into your RDC privileged account.

Carlos_A it is hard to describe how broken your whole system is. It really starting to be very annoying in light of marketing you provide.

R&D after recent updates is useless. Can't find anything, even documents that were easily available couple months ago.

Links that you provided no longer work. Your support never replied to my inquires. After over year of asking I'm still in the same place.

P.S. Please do not ask for filling bugs against your system since it looks like those are ignored or lost in corporate abyss.
