INTEL CORE I7 NOT USES THE TURBO CORE! OVERCLOCATO at 4.5! HELP!

HELLO,

I have a asus rampage iv gene and my processor I7 3970X

is very stable overclock at 4.5 ghz with corsair hydro dissy H1100

but the turbo core does not work as it should on the gene, ie

if it starts to be under load type video encoding and video editing

heavy to 4.5 GHz turbo core frequency varies between 3.9-3.8-3.7 down ghz!

what can it be? the processor is a bug or what? I KNOW ABOUT GIVING USEFUL AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS ABOUT IT?

I have the latest bios which goes to support 22 nm. with some bios vechi turbo core works perfectly.

Hi Hacnet,

It is important to say that overclocking is not supported by Intel® and the warranty and support is provided to the products running under the default specifications.

Intel Turbo Boost will increase the processor speed when it is necessary but this depends on many conditions such as the ambient temperature, workload, etc...

My best recommendation for you at this point, is to set the defaults for the processor and use it under the normal and recommended specifications.
