Graphics Options selection

I am using a Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family.

I have a problem in being able to select the 2nd display. A right click on the Tray Icon opens a window with 3 selections. One selection is "Graphics Options". Under this option I sometimes get an option of ONLY 'Hot Keys'. (ie 'Output To' and 'Panel Fit' are absent).

I'm using a Toshiba Satellite Laptop, running Windows XP.

I've updated the graphics driver to the latest version.

The option will only show if your second monitor is connected. It could be that your cable is failing and it is not always recognizing your second monitor.

When you don't have the option, try unplugging and then plugging back the video cable on the computer and see if it recognizes it.

Also try installing the monitor driver.

PV.

Nothing wrong with my cable.

Re-connecting it does not enable the function.

It appears that I only get the selection available if I power-up my computer WITH the TV connected.

I also do not have Hot-Key functionality. (they are enabled)

Do I need to update something?
