haha just saw my RSS feed update.

seems like some truth to the '9.6 series' thing, perhaps intel were waiting until they were ready to release a TRIM supporting driver.

This isn't going to work with a X58 aye? Only desktop boards ATM? WTB server support. Also do I need to do this with a floppy cause I don't have physcial access...?

On the RST 9.6.0.1014 download page it reads:

"This download is also valid for the products listed below. Use the links below for additional product downloads:

...

...

/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=3018&lang=eng Intel® Desktop Board DX58SO"

On Newegg, the specifications for that motherboard board lists:

North Bridge Intel X58

South Bridge Intel ICH10R

So, it apparently can work for the X58 chipset at least on that motherboard.

I have the Asus P6T Deluxe v1 with X58 so I'll be taking her out for a test drive real soon...

Hmm alright I'll see what I can do whn I get home. Only issue is it's a server with no physical access - the way I read the instructions to be was that I need a floppy, is that correct? Cheers
