two graphics cards pci amd pci express

Hi I have a dg965ry board and am trying to get a ge9500GT PCIE card and a Gforce MX440 card to work together, so I can have a 3 monitor display. It will work, sometimes, but usually the mx440 will show vertical bands then the system will hang. Any suggestions?
