Which Processor to choose between C2D to Quad Core

Dear Sir,

I am planning to purchase a system. But I am confused between E8400 & Q8200 processors. I am planning to use the system for graphic designing and video editing. Can you suggest. I whould also like to ask about motherboard for the same also.
