Hi.
I wonder whats the difference between "Max Memory Size (dependent on memory type)" 64 GB" and "Max Memory Bandwidth" 51.2 GB/s" ???
In January i was looking on the Intel® Core™ i7-3930K (http://ark.intel.com/products/63697/Intel-Core-i7-3930K-Processor-(12M-Cache-3_20-GHz http://ark.intel.com/products/63697/Intel-Core-i7-3930K-Processor-(12M-Cache-3_20-GHz) and on Max Memory Size (dependent on memory type) it was 32 GB now its 64 GB? Whats correct?
And i was even looking at the Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2690 (http://ark.intel.com/products/64596/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E5-2690-(20M-Cache-2_90-GHz-8_00-GTs-Intel-QPI http://ark.intel.com/products/64596/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E5-2690-(20M-Cache-2_90-GHz-8_00-GTs-Intel-QPI) and wonder what should i do with 750 GB Max Memory Size when i only can use 51.2 GB/s Max Memory Bandwidth?
Thanks,

The "Max Memory Size (64 GB)" is the total RAM that the memory controller hub supports.
The "Max Memory Bandwidth (51.2 GB)" indicated how much data you can transfer from and to the RAM.
The bigger the bandwidth, the more data you can transfer between memory and other devices at the same time, but the bandwidth is not related to the amount of RAM that the memory controller hub will handle.
