Does the i7 3820 support PCI-E 3.0?
I plan on buying a new processor this week, with the intentions of having support for PCI-E 3.0
I know that the i7 2600K does not support PCI-E 3.0

According to this set of specs it does not. http://ark.intel.com/products/63698/Intel-Core-i7-3820-Processor-(10M-Cache-3_60-GHz) http://ark.intel.com/products/63698/Intel-Core-i7-3820-Processor-(10M-Cache-3_60-GHz) I think we have to wait for the Z77 Chipset. Regards. Peter

I called Intel twice today. The first intel rep. said it does not support 3.0. The second rep. said it does support 3.0.
Some sources say it supports 3.0
