Why HD P3000 XP Driver allocate only 96MB Maximum Graphics Memory when Aperture size set as 128MB?

When I set IGD Aperture size to 128MB in BIOS Setup, the HD Graphics P3000 driver can allocate only 96MB maximum graphics memory under Windows XP.Is this HD Graphics driver's limitation?

Hello,

From the system BIOS to can set a maximum for the range that the DVMT (Dynamic Video Memory Technology) will be moving up to, depending on the needs of the system.

Only the Original Equipment Manufacturer would be able to set a fixed amount of memory which is not common at all this the system uses shared memory not memory that has been exclusively installed to be dedicated to the video controller.
