I have installed on one disk WD Caviar black Sata 3 1 TB on port 2: 3 windows 7 64 bit and 1 Windows 8 64 bit. When I boot on a different O.S. the start us process is slow and it takes one to two additional reboots to get the O.S. to accelerate at the start up. All other functions operate properly (video rendering with very satisfying processing time)
The processor is overclocked at 4500. In the bios raid Intel configuration the accelerated disk is marked as unsynced. I have tried to sync it without success.
Could you please let me know if there are any adjustments or corrections that I can make to get all O.S. to accelerate at the start up?
Thank you

Hello Gerasimos,
I see that you are having problems with the boot up time and the boot from the operating system disk.
In regards to the problems that you are experiencing I see that the power supply could be the problem. I recommend you to test with a higher wattage power supply.
I also recommend you to set a hard drive delay in BIOS to allow the hard drive to initialize.
Regards
PV

Dear Victor good evening
Thank you so much for your responce, although I do not have any actual problems everything is running ok just the start up time is longer when I switch to a different OS.
In ref to your suggestions, would you be so kind to send me some instructions how to do this as I am self taught and this is the first time that I am getting involved with this technology.
In the INTEL bios raid configuration that appears before the boot manager, the hard disc set up is the following:
1) Port 0: SSD 56 Gb for caching with the indication normal
2)Port 1: WD 1,8 Tb non raid HD
AND 3) Port 2: is the WD 1Tb non raid HD with the 4 OSs installed (3 win 7 64 bit and 1 Windows 8 64 bit concumers preview) This disc has the green star and indicates that is the accelerated disc. Pls dont ask me why I have installed 4 OSs, I can ony say that the other members of my family they prefer to have their own OS and not user's status.
Should I disable acceleration, connect the disc that I want to accelerate to port 1 the other (WD 1,8 Tb) to port 2 and enable acceleration again?
Regarding the Intel Rapid storage panel same here as well, pls check the following images:
Furthermore, I have the VIRTU control panel crashing on start up (not all the times, once every 3-4 starts)) and I have disabled it from the MSCONFIG. Could you please let me know if I do need it to start with the OS in order to have the VIRTU running?
