hello im new to the forums, my question is as follows, i am the proud and happy owner of a intel i7 920 do and i think its overheating, i am completely aware of intel's temp threshold of 67.9 at the tcase or cpu. under load my "cpu"temp never goes above 54degrees celsius but my cores hit 69 celsius. its completely stock never overclocked. its on a cm hyper n520 cpu cooler, at idle about 24 celsius and 37-40 at the cores. is this normal? do i have anything to worry about? and whats this 5 degree diff between tcase "cpu" and tjunction "cores" that people keep talking about cause im not seeing that at all.

That sounds normal. On full load, the i7-920 generates a lot of heat. It is safe... really it can handle temperatures up to 90C+, but you probably don't want to run it at that temperature for long.
