I have tried pressing F5 to switch displays but i can only select the laptop screen. I have also gone to the screen resolution page in control panel and asked the laptop to search for an output (while still connected) but it says 'no output detected.'
This is really frustrating because it only seems to not work with the TV in my room.
Many thanks,
Callum Howard

Hi Callum Howard,
I see the computer integrates an Intel HD Graphics first generation, have you tested the latest graphics drivers?
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Laptop+graphics+drivers&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Laptop+graphics+drivers&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics
Make sure your computer is under win7 because Windows* 8 driver are not available for HD Graphics, also test different HDMI cables.
Thanks
Allan
