hi,

According to Intels driver ( http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-028886.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-028886.htm )

should it have solved the issue i'm having to fix my 1920x1080 (currently only max. 1680x1050).

My GFx is a Mobile Intel® 945 Express Chipset family

and i'm trying to hook up my external Philips 226V4L which is 1920x1080 with VGA.

I have installing the driver win2k_xp14324bb.exe, Version:14.32.4

and tried the suggestions here http://www.komku.org/2009/10/how-to-get-1920x1080-full-hd-resolution.html# sthash.OOLdFFxt.VWP0PPiv.dpbs http://www.komku.org/2009/10/how-to-get-1920x1080-full-hd-resolution.html# sthash.OOLdFFxt.VWP0PPiv.dpbs

however, I am still not able to select 1920x1080 from the Graphics Properties menu.

OS running XP professional SP3.

Please anyone can help would be super appreciated!!!

Hello,

Please bear in mind that this product has reached its End of Interactive Support so Intel no longer provides interactive support for this mature chipset and video controller.

Additionally to the troubleshooting you mentioned, you should check that the latest BIOS for your computer is being used (checking in your motherboard manufacturer web site) and load the latest monitor driver for the Philips 226V4L display.

If the issue persists, check on the graphics report and see if list of Video Modes that are listed as supported Video Modes for the display you have connected. And check if 1920x1080 is listed there. For information how to get the report, please check this article:

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-009476.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-009476.htm

If the issue persists, then please check with your computer or motherboard manufacturer.
