Run CPUz get the serial # and check with Intel.

My mistake CPUz will not tell you the serial # , you would prob. have to remove the CPU and get a magnifing glass to see the serail # .

One way to find out is to look at your receipt (normally three years). But you have to determine whether the retailer or Intel is the one that will provide the warranty.
