I recently bought an Acer Extensa 5235 notebook, which runs Linux and is equipped with an Intel GMA 4500M graphics processor and a 15.6'' HD (1366x768) LED LCD display. No matter what resolution I switch to, it always fills the whole screen. Is there a way to make the system display resolutions such as 640x480 at a ratio of 4:3 (with black bars at the sides)?
