That processor doesn't mentioned on Itel web site and there is no documentation available. But i has one. It detects by Intel® Processor Identification Utility, CPU-Z and Everest as Q9450S. And everest shows 65W TDP. It also mentioned at some Chinese and Pakistan forums by other users and i found peoples in my country with that processor (proof links on demand). Spec code is SLAWR, other processor marking stuff i can get later on demand, because i need to uninstall cooler. Questions are: 1) Is it made by intel or that is China fake 2) Are any documentation or specification available? Users reports that cores temperature are too hight and ask seller to change 'bad processor' , but i think it's incorrect TjMax interpretation by software programs. Case temperature is ok. And i think electrical specification is same. My processor work without isses except core temperature interpritation by software, sorry for my english.

Here is my experiments on that CPU, IntelBurnTest is GUI on linpack, i used x64 version so it pushes processor almost to max TDP and great to check stability issues. As you can see case temperature is 35C, and cores are 65-68 under full load and 60 at idle. I guess it should be like 50 idle and 55-58 on load with ~90 TjMax (all programs detect 100 TjMax). Also current is 42A, so everest detects ~43 Watt power consumption.

And here cpu-z validates that my processor is Q9450S

I think your processor is Q9450, not Q9450S:

It works with low power consuption, it detects as q9450s, so u can call it Q9450 or q9450S but it looks like and works like processor specially designed for that stuff. Actually i don't remember exactly code spec, it 99% SLAWR. But you can google for: q9450s SLAWY and find some interesting posts. I think that processor exists for OEM and never expose by Intel as separate product because it unclaimed by market and i newer bought low power C1 for same price as colder E0 Q9550, but sell for same price as Q9450 is pointless. And some part of OEM Q9450S processor was thrown at market at same price as q9450.

Your original post stated "SLAWR", which is why I provided you links for SLAWR. Pocessor with SLAWY S-spec number, indeed, exists, and it's a mid power version of the Q9405.
